A new research article published in Nature Sustainability examines the role Indigenous peoples can play in biodiversity conservation through land stewardship and management practices, in particular as regards invasive alien species and the protection of native biodiversity. The article draws on findings from the IPBES Invasive Alien Species Assessment Report, as well as the IPBES Global Assessment and Sustainable Use of Wild Species Assessment Reports.
