Description of Impact(s) (English Only) The European Parliament adopted on 27 February 2024 a proposal for legislative regulation for a regulation on nature restoration ("Nature Restoration Law"), citing the IPBES Global Assessment as a basis for its position.
The Regulation proposal document, as well as the Parliament's Position argue the importance of addressing biodiversity loss and climate change together, on the basis of IPBES Global Assessment Report findings.
