About
I am a Marie Sktodowska-Curie and CAROLINE research fellow from Trinity College Dublin, currently based at the European Environment Agency in Copenhagen, Denmark. I focus my research on ecosystem services and natural capital evaluation and the Sustainable Development Goals indicators. I have been awarded with post-doctoral fellowships in Europe and Brazil by the European Commission, the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, the Irish Research Council, and the São Paulo Research Foundation.

My research is contributing to theoretical and practical reforming of the economics discipline overcoming paradigms of growth at all costs. I am a member of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) and the RESURBE initiative for transition to resilience and adaptation through community development under the umbrella of the United Nations (UNEP, UNDP and UNESCO) and FAO.

I am Editor of the Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Environmental Accounting and Management, Frontiers in Sustainable Cities and Frontiers in Energy Research. I authored multiple publications on international peer-reviewed journals.
