Reminder: Survey on the process of reviewing IPBES at the conclusion of its first work programme is closing soon

Dear IPBES members, observers and other interested stakeholders,

With reference to notification EM/2022/02 of 12 January 2022, I would like to remind you that the survey to seek your opinion on the process of reviewing the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) conducted at the conclusion of its first work programme will close on 7 February 2022.

In decision IPBES-7/1, the Plenary requested the Executive Secretary to seek the views of members of IPBES and other stakeholders on the process of reviewing IPBES at the closure of its first work programme.

In the same decision, the Plenary requested the Bureau and the Multidisciplinary Expert Panel to review the process of reviewing IPBES at the closure of its first work programme (2014-2018), taking into account the views expressed by members and stakeholders and to prepare draft terms of reference for a midterm review of IPBES during its work programme up to 2030, for consideration by the Plenary at its ninth session.

In this context, I would like to invite you to complete the questionnaire available here.
