DRC creates national biodiversity and ecosystem services task force on strength of IPBES Africa assessment

Description of Impact(s) (English Only) On the strength of the IPBES Regional Assessment for Africa, a national task force has been established under the leadership of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development to monitor implementation of recommendations to the Government, academia, civil society and the private sector by more than 200 participants in a 2-day conference, based on the findings of the IPBES Assessment, on better incorporation of research data into the development and implementation of national conservation and development policy in the DRC.
