Resolution establishing the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services
On 21 April 2012, the representatives of consenting Governments adopted a resolution, by which the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services was established as an independent intergovernmental body. In the resolution, it was also decided that the first session of the Plenary of the Platform would decide on the link between the Platform and the United Nations system.
