"Power Up!": A mobile phone video game about Sustainable Development Goal trade-offs
A game for mobile phones: directly linking people, science-led data collection, and policy-makers

In the "Power Up!" game, players need to manage competing Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) interests of energy generation, biodiversity conservation, and communities, across different world landscapes. Detailed data on how players make difficult SDG trade-offs are collected, generating a large and open-access dataset (forthcoming). "Power Up!" is free to download and is available in multiple languages, ensuring diverse global voices are mobilised, together building our knowledge and understanding of human decision-making and priorities surrounding SDGs. The "Power Up! game is a cutting-edge research tool that directly links citizens, science-led data collection, and policy-makers.
