UNDP's contribution to IPBES's capacity building work through BES-Net

- Engaged over 200 people from 24 countries in the science-policy-practice dialogue events, or Trialogues, across different regions to enhance awareness, strengthen networks and promote joint actions around the completed IPBES assessment themes
- Collaborated with the IPBES fellows in the collection and compilation of IPBES-theme related data and information at the regional and national levels in support of the science-policy-practice Trialogues
- Supporting eight countries in the uptake of the IPBES assessments and/or national ecosystem assessments, including the operationalization and strengthening of national science-policy-practice platforms/networks in close coordination with the respective IPBES national focal points and ministries
- Steadily expanding the global online BES network with over 120 partners and regularly disseminating and communicating the latest IPBES updates and other relevant news through the BES-Net website, monthly newsletters and social media channels.
