Michael Ansong

Dr. Michael Ansong is currently a lecturer in Department of Silviculture and Forest Management- Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources, at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. Michael holds PhD in Environmental Science (Ecology), MSc and BSc in Natural Resources Management; and has vast experience in experimental design, statistical modeling and invasive species management. Michael’s recent areas of research include long distance seed dispersal, modeling human seed mediated dispersal, determining willingness to pay for forest conservation and stakeholders’ perceptions and attitudes towards biodiversity conservation. He has a rich combination of both practical and theoretical experience in the natural resources and environmental management.
