Kasper KokAssistant Professor
My main area of expertise is the development of interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary foresight methods, often related to social ecological resilience; land and water scenarios; climate mitigation/adaptation; and/or land use planning. My key interest is in improving multi-scale, integrated methodologies that cross social and environmental sciences, using qualitative and semi-quantitative methods to develop exploratory and normative future outlooks in a participatory setting. Among others, I am (and have been) actively involved in a large number of EC-funded Integrated Projects that include methodological innovation related to the topics above. I have extensive hands-on experience with the scenario development process in Latin America (Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica), across Europe, and in the Netherlands.
