Julia Marton - Lefevreindependent advisor
Julia Marton-Lefèvre was Director General of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) from 2007 to 2015. Prior positionS included Rector of the UN affiliated University for Peace, Executive Director of LEAD International and Executive Director of the International Council for Science. She is currently an advisor and board member to a number of institutions, including NGOs, Foundations, Universities and corporations. She lectures regularly on environment and sustainable development topics. She is a recipient of the AAAS Award for International Cooperation in Science, Chevalier de l’Ordre national de la Légion d’Honneur (France), Chevalier dans l’Ordre de Saint-Charles (Monaco) the ProNatura award (Hungary) and the Lifetime Achievement Award of the National Council for Science and the Environment.
