Joji Cariño is the coordinator of the International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IIFBES), one of the self-organized network of IPBES Stakeholders. IIFBES aims to bring together the Indigenous Peoples and local community participants, who contribute to, as well as benefit from, the work of IPBES.
Joji Cariño is the former director of Forest Peoples Programme, and continues to serve as a senior policy advisor for Forest Peoples Programme and works with the Indigenous and Local Knowledge Centres of Distinction.
