Final chapters of the IPBES Values Assessment, and of the IPBES Sustainable Use of Wild Species Assessment now available

Dear IPBES members, observers and other interested stakeholders,

You may recall that in its decision IPBES-9/1, the Plenary approved the summary for policymakers and accepted the chapters of the Methodological Assessment of the Diverse Values and Valuation of Nature (“the Values Assessment”) and of the Thematic Assessment of the Sustainable Use of Wild Species. The chapters have been finalized, following the ninth session of the IPBES Plenary (IPBES 9), to reflect the changes made to the summaries for policymakers at IPBES 9.

I am pleased to inform you that the final versions of the chapters of these two assessments are available for download at the following links:

A laid-out version of the summary for policymakers and of the full report will be made available for each one of the two assessments in the coming months.
