In this first webinar in the IPBES Webinar series, IPBES Bureau member Ivar Baste presents the IPBES Assessment Process, giving an overview of the four stages of the assessment process (exploratory, design, implementation, and communication and outreach) and discusses key topics in each stage. Key topics covered include: getting started as an author and assessing materials; handling the review process; identifying and accessing data and other knowledge sources; and dealing with knowledge gaps.
