Inspired by IPBES, the Cambodian Government launches the National Ecosystem Assessment Project

Description of Impact(s) (English Only) The Government of Cambodia’s National Council for Sustainable Development is collaborating with the Royal University of Phnom Penh to launch an IPBES-inspired project that aims to assess the potential and function of Cambodian ecosystems as well as their benefits to the economy, society, and well-being. The findings of the study will be used at the National Consultative Forum as a basis to develop strategies, policies, and action plans to promote sustainability.
