2nd Ad Hoc Intergovernmental and Multi-stakeholder meeting on an Intergovernmental Science-Policy Interface on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services

5-9 October 2009

Held at the UNEP Headquarters, Nairobi, Kenya

In response to the UNEP Governing Council decision 25/10 the 2nd Ad Hoc Intergovernmental and Multi-stakeholder Meeting on an Intergovernmental Science-Policy Interface on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, will be held at UNEP Headquarters, Nairobi, 5-9 October 2009.

This will be a decision-making meeting that aims to reach an agreement on paths to strengthen the science-policy interface on biodiversity and ecosystem services. High level representation is required from each Government and organizations. Official invitation letters have been sent to the United Nations Member States. Organizations interested in participating in the meeting are requested to contact the Secretariat on the following email addresses for further details: ipbes.unep@unep.org.
